in-person workshop | 2.5 hours

question…how do you want to show up for your daughter on her first period?

  • You want your daughter’s experience to be different to your own, but not sure where to start.

  • You envisage menstrual cycles being a normal and open topic of conversation in your family, and would like ideas on how to get started.

  • You know she’s getting the basics about the menstrual cycle at school, but you’d like to offer her a more holistic and compassionate viewpoint, that focuses on her own unique experience and needs.

  • You would like to get clear on what is happening in her body and mind, so you can support her with a calm, confident mindset.

  • You want practical tips and tools about being prepared, as well as the menstrual products that can support her having an easeful experience.

  • You want her first period to be a positive experience, or even a celebrated rite of passage, and would love some ideas and strategies for integrating it into your family culture.

Or…

  • You’re an absolute trailblazer when it comes to Menstrual Cycle Awareness, you already talk about it all the time to your daughter, and would love to talk about it to other mamas and gain even more strategies for striding forward this beautiful global movement that will change the world!

do any of these points resonate with you?

If you’re looking for any of the above, Cycles of Connection: First-Period Preparation For Mums is the workshop for you.

This is not just a learning session – (although there’s plenty of teachings to share) – but an opportunity to connect with the vision you have for your daughter and your family moving forward, and getting the tools to make it happen,

Jess will guide you through the process of figuring out how you want to show up for your daughter, and how to begin building towards it, starting now.

This is what you can expect at cycles of connection…
  • Nourishing and Connective Experience: We’ll dive into a short, insightful journaling practice, and share our experiences with other mamas, bringing together a powerful vision about how you want to step forward as a support in your daughter’s journey.
  • Immersive Teachings: You’ll learn about the neurological and physical transition your daughter is going through at this time, and experience a guided visualisation through the menstrual seasons map, helping you to meet your daughter wherever she’s at in her cycle.
  • Invaluable Tools: Mindset tools, relational tools, Menstrual Cycle Awareness tools, info on supportive menstrual products… this workshop offers an abundance of practical takeaways! Strategies for creating a period-positive environment in your home,  both for implementing straightaway, and ready to equip in the future.

This workshop is created especially for mothers and female care givers.
